First, I must admit that I am a fan of the "Mother Fist" & "Torment & Toreros" side of Marc's sound. So you have to take that grain of salt, when reading what follows. I bought Stardom Road, because I figure Marc deserves the support - he is one of my three or four favorite musicians of all time. The descriptions and MP3s suggested this album might be one I'd enjoy and I tried SO HARD to like it. But I feel a lot of it has really dull arrangements that are not enough of one thing or another; very middle of the road music However, I think "Stardom Road" is a quite beautiful song - one of my favorites in many many years, and "Kitsch" is a good disco anthem with fun "Also sprach Zarathustra" references in it. However, I cannot really recommend buying this album. I'd suggest going for the downloads on the two songs I mentioned above. S
