Soft Cell: Non-Stop Exotic Video Show

Hey there -

I just got my copy of this DVD in the mail. It's way HOT, but there is one sucky thing about it.....they did NOT include the banned Sex Dwarf video. They did include a little intro to Sex Dwarf, but that's it. I've searched the internet for possible cookies on the DVD, but came across an article that said there are NO extras on the disc & they did in fact leave out Sex Dwarf. MAJOR BUMMER. If any one finds about any possible cookies on this, please post them!!

    Yeah, I think it was misleading because what they meant was "Sex Dwarf" in its entirety. Which is true, they play the entire song during the ending credits. The original VHS was "Say Hello, Wave Goodbye" instrumental during the ending credits. I was kinda bummed too! Where can we see Marc rubbing raw meat into naked women with a dwarf dressed in the same attire???

        I used to have it on VHS until this vicious queen in San Antonio stole it from me before he moved to New Mexico. It didn't have the uncensored Sex Dwarf video on it either (as you may know). Never seen the video...only heard it described by Marc in the NSEVS clips. They didn't even show it at Mother on Marc's "Heroes" night in NYC back in '98. Ah...I miss my Mother. <sigh>

          Yeah I have the VHS and it also deceptively lists Sex Dwarf as being one of the tracks - but still I love that whole project, especially the big Entertain Me production number.

          Without looking it up in one of the bios to be sure, I seem to recall the raw footage of SD was stolen from the studio (and leaked to the tabloids, causing the scandal) -- so I don't know if anyone has it at this point.

          Only bit I've ever seen is the proof sheet of stills from it in Simon Tebbutt's book. Dave with chainsaw, Marc and Dwarf in leather harnesses, raw sides of beef... lovely.

    Ditto. Bummed about the "Sex Drawf" but knew about the controversy. The newly advertised Sex Drawf closing credit was definately a disappointment. Truly a Stevo catastrophe....The interludes were great though. According to his bio Sex Drawf is forever in the Some Bizarre faults never to see the light of day again. Perhaps there are some generation boots out there floating around.
