I saw Marc at the Celebrity Theater in Anaheim, CA back in '89.
Great show! He walked by me in the lobby and I didn't recognize him at first. I thought it was strange that a teenage kid would have a bunch of tattoos. Then I figued out who it was.
Anyone else see him there?

Tue, March 8, 2005 - 8:42 PMYes, it was The Stars We Are. That was also the song that he opened the show with.
It was a small, round theater and just half of it was used for this show.
At the time, The Stars We Are was his only U.S. solo release. I had purchased alot of his earlier solo records as imports so I knew most of the songs he performed.
I think some people were dissapointed because he didn't perform any Soft Cell material and they seemed unfamiliar with many of the songs he performed.
I thought it was a great show.
